Okairy Rodriguez
Hi, my name is Okairy Rodriguez and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 13 years of professional experience. I graduated from the University of Southern California with my Masters in Social Work in 2011 and obtained my LCSW in June of 2015. I am bilingual and conduct therapy in Spanish and English via telehealth services. I've had the privilege of assisting individuals and families through various challenges and transitions, fostering resilience and growth along the way.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, and I am trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, trauma-informed care, grief and loss counseling, and mindfulness techniques. I believe in the power of these modalities to help clients develop coping skills, process difficult emotions, and create positive change in their lives.
In my practice, I specialize in working with couples and families who are facing significant life changes or transitions. Whether it's adjusting to a new family dynamic, coping with loss or trauma, or navigating relationship challenges, I provide a supportive and empathetic space where clients can explore their emotions, strengthen their relationships, and develop effective coping strategies.
Outside of my professional career, I cherish spending time with my husband, son, and two dogs. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and I am grateful for the love and support they provide. In my free time, you can often find me exploring my community, one coffee shop at a time. I believe in the importance of connection, both within my own family and with the community around me.
