Mani Vahidi, MD, MSHS is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with extensive experience using evidence-based treatments to treat a variety of mental health conditions including but not limited to: depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), substance use disorders (SUDs), schizophrenia and other thought disorders.

Dr. Vahidi earned his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and a master’s degree in health systems from the Cedars-Sinai Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Vahidi earned his graduate degrees concurrently, as member of the UCLA PRIME-LA cohort, a select five-year leadership development and scholarship program at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

Dr. Vahidi completed his training in general psychiatry at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute and the West LA Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He served as chief resident in his last year of residency in the UCLA/VA Psychiatry Training Program. In addition, he is completing extra training in the Addiction Psychiatry through the UCLA/VA Greater Los Angeles Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship Program.

Dr. Vahidi draws on an extensive background in clinical and medical research and is the co-author of numerous peer-reviewed research publications. Dr. Vahidi has presented his research at multiple conferences and is featured in multiple medical journals, including the Journal of Addiction Medicine, Addiction, Substance Use & Misuse, and Drug and Alcohol Dependence.

Dr. Vahidi uses he/him pronouns and is fluent in Farsi/Persian.
