Dr. Kelly Kazmierski is a licensed psychologist (CA Board of Psychology #33280) who works to foster fulfilling relationships and promote mental health for couples, individuals, and families. She completed her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Southern California, her clinical internship at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center, and her post-doctoral fellowship at the University of California, Irvine. Her NSF and NIH funded research has focused on how secure romantic and parent-child relationships promote health and well-being in the face of stressors.

Dr. Kazmierski’s practice focuses on serving couples whose relationships have been ruptured by conflict, disconnection, or infidelity. She also specializes in treating individual adults and adolescents who are struggling in their important relationships or who are living with the legacy of interpersonal traumas. Finally, she works with families and parents (including parents of adult children), who are seeking to build more attuned, meaningful family relationships. Across populations, Dr. Kazmierski employs effective, evidence-based interventions, which are grounded in cognitive-behavioral (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT, CPT, IBCT) and attachment and family-systems (e.g, EFT, ABFT) theories, to treat depression, anxiety, PTSD, BPD, addiction, and relationship problems.
