I’m Ally Heppert, LMFT #134312, a Clinical Supervisor and Clinician with a passion for supporting individuals and families in achieving their goals and improving their well-being. I have extensive experience working in community mental health and K-12 educational settings, specializing in addressing self-harm, suicide, externalizing behaviors, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I partner closely with clients and their families to create meaningful, goal-driven plans, drawing on advanced training in DBT, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and TF-CBT. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed, brain-based strategies, and I strive to foster a safe, inclusive, and collaborative environment where lasting progress can happen.

In addition to my work at Compass, I also provide coaching and consultation services for K-12 schools through a community mental health agency. I enjoy partnering with K-12 schools to develop and implement mental health supports on campus using the Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS) framework. Helping schools create sustainable systems of care that promote the well-being of students, families, and staff is deeply rewarding, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in both individual and systemic settings.

In my free time, I love spending time with family, friends, and my animals. You'll likely find me out with my two golden retrievers on the beach or a hike. Most recently, we have been working toward competing in agility competitions and training to be therapy dogs!
