Dr. Hannah Steinberg is a licensed clinical psychologist. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science from Tufts University with majors in Psychology and Child Development. She completed her doctoral training at the PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium. and has primarily trained in hospital settings including McLean Hospital, Stanford’s Department of Psychiatry, University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and Children’s Hospital Orange County (CHOC). Dr. Steinberg has extensive experience utilizing evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Family Based Treatment (FBT) for eating disorders. She enjoys supporting children, adolescents, and adults struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, family conflict and parenting challenges, eating disorders, and relational issues. She also loves working and supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals, both clinically (i.e., by providing gender affirming therapy) and within research. She has received extensive training in psychosocial and neuropsychological assessments, and finds value administering these batteries as a tool to help with treatment. Dr. Steinberg prioritizes modalities that honor culture and diversity, incorporate values-based work, as well as those that allow her to build genuine relationships and utilize humor and levity when appropriate. She is committed to creating a collaborative, supportive, and helpful space for individuals to find and sustain meaning, strength and resilience in their life.
