Dr. Elicia Wartman
Dr. Elicia Wartman is a licensed clinical psychologist with specialized expertise in working with children and families. She earned her PhD in clinical psychology from Loyola University Chicago and completed both her internship and post-doctoral fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). Dr. Wartman has extensive experience helping children, teens, and young adults manage life’s challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, pain, and relationship challenges. She uses a blend of evidence-based therapy approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Her approach is flexible and considers the many factors that shape a person’s well-being, allowing her to tailor treatment to each individual’s needs. She offers a supportive, stigma-free space where clients can navigate and transform negative patterns, process difficult experiences, and develop the confidence and resilience to face future challenges.
