Dr. Gerin Gaskin
Dr. Gerin Gaskin is a licensed psychologist and board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA). She earned her PhD in Positive Developmental Psychology from Claremont Graduate University and completed her pre- and post-doctoral training with Dr. Borelli at Compass Therapy. She has worked with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities for nearly two decades. Her research has focused on assessing the impact of innovative and research-based approaches to support parents in the autistic community and strengthen parent-child relationships.
Dr. Gaskin values the therapeutic process and embraces the opportunity to create meaningful relationships. Dr. Gaskin works with children, young adults, parents, and families and uses evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and approaches rooted in attachment that focus on mentalization. Dr. Gaskin specializes in depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. She utilizes a culturally centered, collaborative, and individualized approach to support and empower her clients in meeting their goals.
