Dr. Alyssa Morris is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in supporting individuals and families during pregnancy, the postpartum period, and early parenthood. She completed her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Southern California and her pre-doctoral internship at Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). She received advanced training in perinatal mental health during her post-doctoral fellowship at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, where she specialized in supporting families navigating birth trauma and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) stays. Dr. Morris also holds the Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C), reflecting her advanced skills in caring for mothers, fathers, and families throughout complex reproductive and postpartum journeys.

Dr. Morris has extensive experience supporting individuals navigating pregnancy and the postpartum period, including those experiencing anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She is deeply committed to helping families adjust to the emotional, physical, and relational changes that accompany the transition to parenthood.

In therapy, Dr. Morris draws from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-focused approaches. Her style is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that while she brings clinical expertise in perinatal mental health, individuals and families are experts in their own lives. She partners with clients to foster healing, resilience, growth, and connection during this transformative season of life.
