Dr. Weei LoAllen
Weei LoAllen, MD is a board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist with a specialization in working with high achieving individuals and families navigating life transitions. He has extensive experience in evaluation and treatment of depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorder, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, and ADHD.
Dr. LoAllen received his medical degree from Albany Medical College in New York. He completed his adult psychiatry training as a chief resident at the UCLA and Greater Los Angeles VA residency. He completed his child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at USC and Los Angeles General Medical Center. Dr. LoAllen is a passionate advocate for the mental health of youths and their families. At Keck School of Medicine of USC, he served on the Strategic Plan Advisory Council for the Department of Psychiatry. Dr. LoAllen also advised on national advocacy and policy issues while serving on the American Psychiatric Association Council on Minority Mental Health and Health Disparities.
Dr. LoAllen prescribes medications judiciously and values the opportunities to work collaboratively on all aspects of an individualized treatment plan. Dr. LoAllen is experienced in working with individuals and families from the Asian Pacific American community and welcomes clients of all sexual orientations and gender identities. He is committed to providing affirming and compassionate care to help all clients cultivate their resilience and thrive.
